How you'll make an impact
- Own and continuously develop the Finance systems landscape from a business perspective, ensuring it supports Finance strategy, regulatory requirements, and business growth
- Define and manage the Finance systems roadmap, translating business needs into system capabilities and prioritizing enhancements across Finance platforms
- Act as the key interface between Finance, IT, software vendors, and implementation partners, ensuring business requirements are reflected in solution design and delivery
- Drive Finance process optimization, digitalization, and AI initiatives, increasing automation and reducing manual activities across the Finance function
- Ensure data quality, system integrity, and effective Finance controls across Finance platforms, including reconciliation processes and master data governance
- Support Finance systems in meeting regulatory and reporting requirements, including IFRS, Local GAAP, Solvency II, tax, and audit requirements
- Lead Finance workstreams in transformation and ERP projects, including change management, user acceptance testing (UAT), and successful system releases
- Establish and maintain governance for Finance systems, including release management, change control, system performance monitoring, and compliance with internal policies
What it takes to succeed in this role
- University degree in Business Administration, Finance, Information Systems, or a comparable field, combined with several years of professional experience in Finance, Finance Transformation, Finance Systems, or ERP environments
- Strong knowledge of financial accounting, including IFRS, and a good understanding of regulatory reporting; experience in Financial Governance is an advantage
- Hands-on experience with Finance systems and ERP platforms, particularly D365 Finance and / or SUN Systems are an advantage
- Experience in Product Ownership or Project Management, combined with an understanding of agile IT engineering and delivery practices; relevant certifications are an advantage
- Experience in ERP implementations, Finance process optimization, change management, digitalization, and AI-driven solutions, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across Finance, IT, and external partners in an international environment
- Fluent German and English are required, both in spoken and written form
