How you'll make an impact
- Supporting the implementation, maintenance and continuous improvement of the Business Continuity Management System (BCMS) in line with internal policies, DORA and ISO 22301.
- Coordinating Business Impact Analyses (BIA) and the assessment of Critical or Important Functions (CIFs), including dependencies and recovery requirements.
- Developing and maintaining Business Continuity Plans, recovery strategies and workarounds together with business functions, IT and Business Continuity Coordinators.
- Planning, conducting and documenting Business Continuity Management tests, exercises and crisis simulations and supporting the organization during disruptions.
- Maintaining audit-ready Business Continuity Management documentation, supporting audits and third-party assessments and tracking remediation actions.
- Preparing Business Continuity Management reports and KPIs for management and delivering training and awareness sessions for employees.
What it takes to succeed in this role
- University degree in Business Administration, Risk Management, Information Technology, Security Management or a related field.
- Initial professional experience in Business Continuity Management, Operational Resilience, Crisis Management or IT Service Continuity, ideally in a regulated industry.
- Solid understanding of Business Continuity Management concepts such as BIA, RTO/RPO and crisis management as well as familiarity with ISO 22301 and DORA; a certification (e.g. BCI, CBCI) is an advantage.
- Basic understanding of ICT environments and their interplay with business processes and third-party services.
- Strong analytical, organizational and communication skills and the ability to work independently and facilitate workshops.
- Very good English skills, German an advantage, and willingness to travel occasionally within Europe.
